From £26,000 base, £40,000 first-year OTE

About the Business

Our teams are growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join my team in one of our key tech divisions.


About the Role

90% of Searchability’s leaders and top performers started as Trainees. This is a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity to learn from frameworks, systems and senior consultants while fast-tracking toward full 360 recruitment expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Technical skills:

    • Learn and apply key technologies: LinkedIn Recruiter, Mercury, Broadbean, Indeed, Lusha
    • Source candidates for live vacancies with guidance from senior team members
  • Commercial focus:

    • Develop market awareness and nurture new business through outreach (phone, digital, client meetings)
    • Proactively build relationships and attract top tech talent
  • Operational duties:

    • Handle job administrative tasks (CV prepping, compliance checks, billing confirmations)
    • Manage workflows, deadline-driven projects, and maintain system accuracy
  • Professional development:

    • Expand professional network and leverage personal and social media branding
    • Progress toward a full 360 Recruitment Consultant role

Requirements

✅ Mathematics and English GCSE (Grade 4 / C and above) ✅ Fast-paced mindset and ability to thrive in a KPI-driven environment ✅ Excellent communication and time management skills ✅ Commercial drive + genuine ambition for self and group performance ✅ Office-based in Chester only (full-time commuting required for HQ)
