Optime Group, a leader in aviation recruitment, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Resourcing Consultant to spearhead our recruitment initiatives at Gatwick Airport.
While previous recruitment experience is beneficial, it’s not a requirement – with the right attitude, we’ll provide the training and support you need to thrive!
Based at our head office in Crawley, we’re expanding our team and looking for a talented individual to handle recruitment across various airports in the UK. If you're driven, ambitious, and ready for an exciting new challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
What's on offer:
- Salary: £28,000 per annum + commission
- Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:30 am-17:00 pm (Office-based)
- Location: Crawley
Key Responsibilities:
- Attract, engage, and recruit high-calibre candidates, ensuring all hiring activities meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Promote a diverse portfolio of vacancies across multiple sectors and operational areas.
- Proactively source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the company's CRM and applicant tracking systems, ensuring full compliance with internal procedures and GDPR requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including CV screening, candidate assessment, telephone and face-to-face interviews, offer management, onboarding, and post-placement support.
- Administer airport airside pass applications, ensuring all required documentation, identity checks, right-to-work verification, referencing, and background screening requirements are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Liaise with airport authorities, security teams, and candidates throughout the airside pass process, monitoring application progress and ensuring compliance with aviation security regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of airside passes, renewals, expiries, and associated compliance documentation, supporting audit and regulatory requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to placed workers, assisting with payroll, holiday entitlement, rostering, and general employment-related enquiries within airport operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, workers, clients, and internal stakeholders to deliver an exceptional recruitment experience.
- Work collaboratively with management and wider teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), effectively utilising recruitment dashboards and performance metrics.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the business, bringing enthusiasm, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach to delivering first-class service every day.

- Previous experience within recruitment, resourcing, talent acquisition, customer service, administration, or a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates, workers, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- High attention to detail, particularly when handling compliance documentation, onboarding records, and airside pass applications.
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
