Henley-on-Thames | Hybrid | Salary + Commission + Benefits

Already working in recruitment? Ready to step up?

You've learned how recruitment works.

You've worked hard in a fast-paced environment. You've filled jobs, built candidate relationships and developed solid recruitment experience.

But now you're looking for more.

More quality than quantity.

More meaningful conversations.

More commercial exposure.

More opportunity to become a true recruitment consultant.

At Practicus, we've designed this role for recruiters who are ready to leave high-volume recruitment behind and build a career in specialist, business-critical recruitment.

You'll start by delivering senior appointments alongside experienced consultants, learning how to recruit into transformation, change and leadership roles before progressing into a fully-fledged Recruitment Consultant with your own specialist market.

This isn't about throwing you into a 360 desk on day one.

It's about giving you the training, coaching and experience to build a long-term career.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Understand businesses, markets and organisational change
  • Build lasting relationships with candidates who become future clients
  • Work with household names and ambitious scale-ups on business-critical appointments
  • Develop commercial skills that go far beyond recruitment
  • Build your own specialist market with ongoing coaching and support

You've learned the basics.

Now you want to specialise.

You want to work on fewer vacancies, spend more time with candidates, understand the businesses you're recruiting for, and build relationships that last longer than a single placement.
