Scope of the Role
As a 360 Recruitment Consultant, you will build Kodu's electronics and embedded software desk from the ground up, contract first, into warm client relationships we have already earned.
- Turn Kodu's existing client relationships into your first electronics and embedded software briefs.
- Map the market, build a candidate base and become genuinely credible with hiring managers.
- Own the full 360 cycle. Source, run the search, manage both sides and close.
- Weight contract first, take perm where it fits, and keep both to the Kodu standard.
- Manage every relationship end to end with transparent communication and no surprises.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- A proven 360 biller with a real track record of winning and delivering new business, ideally with strong contract experience.
- Strong knowledge of the electronics and embedded software market: electronics design, embedded, FPGA, ASIC, RF, power or DSP.
- The credibility to speak with electronics and software hiring managers from day one.
- A builder who wants to open and own a desk, not inherit a finished one.
- Confident presenting to clients, getting to meetings and building your own profile.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
