Recruitment Consultant, Fixed-Term - London, UK (Hybrid)

Recruitment Consultant

About the Role

Wilson is seeking a motivated, consultative, and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our collaborative, dynamic, and talented team. This role will involve acting as a trusted client advisor and candidate advocate, combining cutting-edge recruitment strategies and market intelligence to deliver the best talent to meet our clients’ critical recruitment needs.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • The ability to develop and nurture strong working relationships
  • A strong commitment to client satisfaction and candidate experience

Our Recruitment Consultants oversee all aspects of the recruiting process, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and clients.


Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following core activities:

  • Candidate Selection & Vetting

    • Identify, assess, and shortlist high-quality candidates
    • Conduct initial phone screens
    • Facilitate interviews and compile feedback from both clients and candidates
  • Talent Pool & Networking

    • Build and maintain a strong network of candidates through benchmark research
    • Nurture and manage recruitment pipelines to anticipate client needs
    • Achieve strong submit-to-interview and interview-to-offer ratios
  • Proactive Candidate Sourcing

    • Develop creative and proactive recruitment strategies
    • Identify and attract both passive and active candidates
  • Client Collaboration

    • Consult with hiring managers (clients) on final selections, compensation packages, and recruitment processes
    • Provide value-added insights to enhance recruitment decisions

  • Relationship Management

    • Maintain strong and positive relationships with both clients and candidates
    • Ensure client and candidate satisfaction throughout the engagement
  • Goal Performance & Reporting

    • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly submission and placement goals
    • Update applicant tracking system (ATS) data and produce necessary reports

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, we require:

  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional recruitment résultats, including:
    • Conducting competitive market research
    • Passive sourcing, advanced online searches
    • Negotiation and candidate placement, minimising time-to-hire
  • Experience in a **fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Strong commitment to exceeding performance targets
  • Exceptional ability to monitor and articulate recruitment pipelines
  • Strong client focus with a dedication to continuous improvement
  • Ability to design/implement effective recruitment strategies, including RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) and client relationship management
  • Excellent time management under multiple priorities with adaptability to change
  • Willingness to collaborate across the recruiting team to add value

Technical Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Strong social media presence and use of platforms for sourcing and engagement

Location & Work Commitment

  • Office location is near Farringdon Rail Station, London
  • Role requires 1–2 in-office days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely otherwise
