Recruitment Consultant – Construction Consultancy
Loughborough | £30,000–£40,000 + Uncapped Bonus

Are you currently working in the construction or built environment and looking for a career that offers greater earning potential, faster progression, and the opportunity to build long-term relationships?
Pegasus Search & Selection is a specialist construction recruitment consultancy, partnering with many of the UK's leading construction consultancies. Due to continued growth, we're looking to appoint a Recruitment Consultant to join our Loughborough office.
Conveniently located just five minutes' walk from Loughborough train station, our office is easily commutable from Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby.
The Opportunity
This isn't a high-volume recruitment role. Instead, you'll become a specialist within the construction consultancy market, working with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and Building Surveyors across the Midlands and beyond. You'll build genuine relationships with clients and candidates, becoming a trusted advisor within your market while developing your own desk and earning uncapped commission. Previous recruitment experience isn't essential. We're far more interested in people who understand the construction industry and enjoy building relationships.

What You'll Be Doing
- Building relationships with construction professionals across the Midlands.
- Working closely with leading construction consultancies to understand their recruitment needs.
- Managing the full recruitment process from initial brief through to successful placement.
- Developing new client relationships while growing existing accounts.
- Networking within the construction industry.
- Becoming a recognised specialist within your chosen market.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience within the construction or built environment sector.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commercial mindset with the ambition to develop a successful career.
- The confidence to speak with senior professionals and business leaders.
- A proactive approach and the drive to succeed.
Experience could come from areas such as:
- Quantity Surveying
- Project Management
- Building Surveying
- Construction Consultancy
- Main Contracting
- Building Services
- Construction Sales
- Construction Supply Chain
