Role Overview
As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in driving sales growth for Enable Group while specialising in construction and engineering recruitment. This role spans blue and white-collar sectors, requiring agility across multiple placements nationwide.
Reporting closely to the BD Manager, you’ll:
- Update CRM systems diligently.
- Align strategies and report progress in weekly sales meetings.
- Source candidates (both technical and non-technical) and opportunities.
- Leverage your own professional network while using tools provided by the company.
You’ll thrive in a high-energy environment managing multiple roles simultaneously, demanding strong relationship management, persistence, and strategic adaptability.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
- Candidate Sourcing & Placement: Identify, assess, and place blue-collar and white-collar candidates across construction/engineering roles.
- New Market Expansion: Penetrate and develop new external markets in construction and engineering alignment with Enable Group’s growth strategy.
- Client Relationships: Build trust with clients by identifying their needs, presenting tailored solutions, and closing placements strategically.
- Sales Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of CRM progress, track leads, and submit detailed weekly reports.
- Networking: Engage across professional platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, social media) to attract top talent.
- Job Advert Creation: Craft compelling, high-conversion job adverts for all posting channels.
- Networking & Outreach: Actively grow partnerships with contractors, sector leaders, and upskilled career candidates.

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven expertise in 360-degree recruitment or 180 recruitment within the general recruitment industry.
- Strong construction sector recruitment background (resourcer, experienced recruiter, or placement specialist).
- Demonstrated track record in winning new business accounts, growing client retention, and hitting territory targets.
- Experience either within construction/engineering as a recruitment professional or with technical hiring.
Technical Skills
Core Technical Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in CRM software systems for managing pipelines and reporting accurately (e.g., Bullhorn, Workstream, Salesforce).
- Mastery of candidate search tools—LinkedIn, industry-focused job boards, niche social platforms, Boolean searches.
- Knowledge of resourcing processes in construction, including understanding differing levels of seniority within trades/vocational roles.

Soft Technicals
- Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, MS Office 365).
- Comfort using ATS platforms (requisition posting, resume parsing).
