Recruitment Consultant– Life Sciences

£30,225 - £43,851 + commission

The Role

We are seeking driven, ambitious individuals to join our high-performing London Life Sciences team.

The Life Sciences team sit within our thriving Cheapside office close to transport links in the heart of London. This is an experienced team with a wealth of sector knowledge and expertise. Consultants partner with a diverse range of organisations across Pharmaceutical, Biotech, CRO, MedTech and CDMO markets supporting their hiring as they navigate evolving regulations, emerging technologies, and increased compliance expectations. The London Life Sciences team have a high performance culture and run regular industry networking events which are valued by customers.

Your New Role

The team are growing and there are three open positions available. London remains the UK’s fastest-growing Life Sciences hub, accounting for 28% of all UK scientific roles, making this a prime opportunity to build a high-performing desk.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will:

  • Build strong, long-term networks across your vertical market.
  • Develop and maintain a specialist candidate pipeline within a highly skills-short market.
  • Position yourself as a market-leading recruiter and contribute to sector-relevant thought leadership.
  • Drive proactive business development within Pharma, Biotech, CRO and MedTech organisations.
  • Source, interview and shortlist high-quality candidates across all levels.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle—Business Development, terms negotiation, delivery, placements, and aftercare.
  • Consistently achieve sales targets and KPIs through high-quality performance.

To Be Successful, You Will Need:

  • A driven, self-motivated mindset and a passion for building long-term commercial relationships.
  • A consultative approach with strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence clients in a technical, evolving market.
  • Resilience, confidence, and the ability to differentiate yourself in a competitive talent landscape.
  • Strong communication skills and an ethical, organised approach to recruitment.
  • Prior experience as a recruitment consultant/sales background.
