Join Our Growing Team
We’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Millbank and take ownership of a busy, high-performing permanent or contract desk. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working closely with clients, and being part of a supportive team that genuinely knows its market.
You’ll be responsible for the full recruitment process from writing and posting adverts, sourcing and screening candidates, through to arranging interviews, managing offers, and ensuring a smooth experience for both clients and candidates. You’ll also maintain accurate CRM records, work in line with compliance requirements, and develop strong, long-term relationships across your desk.
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have at least 1 year’s experience as a Recruitment Consultant and be confident managing your own workload and desk.
Experience in sectors such as nuclear, energy, chemical, defence, utilities, infrastructure or construction would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
