Recruitment Consultant - Placement Year

Anson McCade is a leading provider of technology recruitment and consultancy services across the globe. We work with a range of clients, from top-tier consultancies and global household names to government agencies and market disruptive start-ups. As our success continues to grow, we are expanding our team and looking for ambitious individuals who are ready to make an impact and gain real work experience in a placement as part of your degree.

At Anson McCade, our placement students are treated exactly the same as anyone else in the team. You will have the same opportunity as anyone else, the same responsibility as anyone else, and reap the same benefits as anyone else.

While you are a placement student, you still make commission, can get promoted and could return to university with a graduate job offer.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
