Private Equity - Recruitment Consultant / Senior Consultant

About the Company

Opportunity to work for a specialist executive level recruitment firm partnering with private equity investors and their portfolio companies to deliver CFO, C-suite and board-level talent across the UK and Europe.

About the Role

We’re looking for the first Recruitment Consultant hire. This isn’t a typical 360 recruitment role. It’s an opportunity to work directly alongside the founder, learn a high-value private equity search model, build your own specialist vertical, and play a key role in shaping the future of the business. Responsibilities

  • Executive and senior leadership appointments across private equity-backed and high-growth businesses
  • CFO, Finance Leadership, C-Suite and Board-level mandates
  • Retained and search-led assignments
  • Business development, client engagement and search delivery

Qualifications

  • Recruitment or executive search experience
  • Experience recruiting senior finance, leadership or specialist hires
  • Exposure to private equity-backed, investor-backed or high-growth businesses is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial instincts and business development capability
  • Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working with autonomy

Preferred Skills

  • Retained search experience
  • Exposure to CFO, C-suite, Product, Technology or GTM leadership hiring
  • Strong billing history in competitive markets
  • Experience operating in multiple recruitment environments or markets

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive basic salary. Highly attractive commission structure. Potential earnings of up to ~50% of generated revenue (well above traditional recruitment models). Future profit-share and longer-term participation opportunities as the business grows.
