Moonrise Recruitment Consultant
Moonrise is looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join its UK-based remote team. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in sales, client development, and recruitment-style consulting, with strong earning potential from the start. This role is fully remote, but applicants should be based in the UK. You will work in a fast-paced commercial environment where relationship-building, resilience, and consistent performance are essential.
About the Role
The role offers a salary of up to £45,000 (commensurate with experience), with uncapped commission available from day one and first-year on-target earnings expected to reach approximately £60,000-£70,000. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will develop relationships with businesses, understand their hiring needs, and connect them with high-quality professional talent.
You will be responsible for building market knowledge, managing conversations with both clients and candidates, and supporting the full process from initial outreach through to successful placement. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys speaking with people, working toward targets, learning quickly, and taking ownership of results in a remote working environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, business leaders, and client contacts across a specialist market.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term commercial partnerships.
- Source, approach, and engage skilled professionals through proactive outreach.
- Manage candidate relationships and build a strong network of talent within your market.
- Coordinate the full sales and recruitment process, including introductions, interviews, feedback, offer discussions, and post-placement support.
- Use market insight, data, and technology to spot opportunities, improve outreach, and support better decision-making.
- Maintain consistent activity levels, including regular calls, follow-ups, and relationship-building conversations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
