Recruitment Consultant

gap personnel, who operate as an employment business are seeking an individual with a strong understanding of recruitment and a passion for identifying talent, fostering relationships, and contributing to organisational growth.

360 Recruitment Consultant

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:30am-17:00pm Salary: £29,000-£38,000 dependent on experience + Bonus Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Location: Southend

Duties Include

  • Support business growth through lead generation and business development activities.
  • Arrange and attend client service and sales meetings.
  • Help the branch achieve KPI, performance, and service targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate network using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, social media, and CRM systems.
  • Complete pre-employment checks, references, and right-to-work verification in line with compliance requirements.
  • Match candidates to roles based on skills, experience, and client needs.
  • Manage candidate availability and placement for temporary assignments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Coordinate recruitment activity to meet workforce demands.
  • Manage bookings, staffing fulfilment, and workforce planning.
  • Resolve client and candidate issues promptly and professionally.
  • Guide and support candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Deliver an excellent experience for both clients and candidates while contributing to branch growth.
