About Pharos

Pharos is a specialist recruitment business focused on Software Engineering, Data and AI talent within financial services. As part of a wider group that includes an advisory consultancy, we work closely with industry specialists to help clients solve complex talent and business challenges.

We're a growing company with a flexible, trust-based culture. We give people the autonomy to succeed and are looking for individuals who take ownership, focus on outcomes and are passionate about delivering exceptional service.

We believe in building long-term partnerships rather than transactional relationships, placing a strong emphasis on quality, expertise and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients and candidates.

The Role

We're looking for a Recruitment Consultant with 2 - 4 years' experience to join our team in a 360 recruitment role.

This opportunity would suit someone with a strong background in candidate delivery and a proven track record recruiting Software Engineers, Data Engineers and AI specialists within financial services, ideally for buy-side firms. While you'll be involved across the full recruitment lifecycle from day one, we're particularly interested in individuals who are keen to develop their client-facing and business development skills as they progress their career.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
