Permanent Recruitment Consultant - Rail, Infrastructure & Civils

Join a high-performing desk specialising in permanent recruitment across the dynamic Rail, Infrastructure and Civils market. As a Permanent Recruitment Consultant, you’ll focus on placing top talent within civil engineering and construction, supporting projects ranging from rail and highways to major infrastructure developments.

Working on roles typically within the £40K–£150K bracket, you’ll recruit for key positions including Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers and other technical professionals. While the core coverage spans the South, this desk operates nationally, giving you the scope to build a broad, high-value network and make a real impact across the UK’s evolving infrastructure landscape.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Full 360 Recruitment Process: Engage in every aspect of recruitment business development and client acquisition to job briefings, candidate sourcing, interviews, offer negotiations and deal closures.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilise job boards, referrals, and headhunting via platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter. Source candidates via advertising, job boards, social media and referrals. Register and interview candidates, conduct background checks, and match them with job opportunities. Prepare and promote candidates for interviews, ensuring vacancies are filled promptly.
  • Key Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, offering exceptional service and advice. Network and build relationships with clients to drive sales.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure branch success and maximise cross-selling opportunities
