The Opportunity
This isn't a traditional recruitment desk.
- You'll own your own specialist market across the US Construction Consultancy and Owner's Representative sectors, combining executive search, business development, account management and market intelligence.
- You'll be responsible for developing long-term client partnerships, building exceptional candidate networks and becoming a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business across Construction Consultancies and Owner's Representative firms throughout North America.
- Build relationships with Principals, Directors, Vice Presidents and C-Suite leaders.
- Generate retained, contingent and exclusive search opportunities.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from client brief through to placement and aftercare.
- Recruit Cost Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Project Controls professionals, Estimators and Executive leadership.
- Deliver salary benchmarking, market mapping and competitor intelligence to clients.
- Build long-term talent pipelines before vacancies arise.
- Represent Fortiva through networking, LinkedIn and industry engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the continued growth of the US division.

Experience, Skills & Attributes
- Previous agency recruitment experience preferred.
- Strong business development mindset and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Confidence engaging senior decision makers.
- Interest in construction, engineering or professional services markets.
- Ambition to build a specialist reputation and contribute to Fortiva's growth.
