Recruitment Consultant – USA Technology Market

Location: Southampton – Hybrid Working Salary: Competitive Basic + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

Spectrum IT Recruitment is an established and highly respected technology recruitment company, partnering with some of the most innovative businesses across software engineering, data, AI, cloud, and digital technology.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our team and focus exclusively on the USA technology market, specialising in Software Engineering & Data & AI recruitment.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a lucrative international desk within one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing sectors in global technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop new business relationships in the USA technology market
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from client acquisition to candidate placement
  • Source, engage, and qualify high-calibre technology professionals
  • Develop specialist knowledge in Data, Software, & AI
  • Conduct client meetings, vacancy qualification, and salary benchmarking
  • Negotiate offers and manage the recruitment process to successful completion
  • Build a strong personal brand in your chosen technology niche

Ideal Candidate Qualities

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous US recruitment experience (technology focus preferred but not essential)
  • A consultative, relationship-driven approach
  • Strong communication and business development skills
  • Commercial awareness and a desire to build a successful desk
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset
  • The ambition to earn significant commissions and progress your career
