Job Description

As a Recruitment Coordinator for Next, you will support the Volume Recruitment Team in conducting a face-to-face experience for candidates, to ensure the delivery of successful recruitment campaigns.

You will act as an ambassador for Next, engaging with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process to give them a memorable and market-leading experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and conduct interviews with candidates, making candidates feel welcomed and comfortable in their interview.
  • Travel and support at other locations to support and cover interviews at sites such as Doncaster, Dearne, Redhouse, and Stadium.
  • Confidently engage with candidates during the interview and onboarding process to ensure we are delivering the best candidate experience.
  • Lead by example - act as an ambassador for our values and our brand.
  • Maintain exceptional standards within the assessment center. Open and close the assessment center and conduct regular spot checks during the day to ensure the standards are maintained.
  • Represent Next throughout your role, and ensure you are presentable at all times.
  • Be accountable for obtaining and verifying Right to Work (RTW) compliance checks.
  • Maintain legal compliance in all areas, including the Working Time Directive, Equality Act, and Right to Work documentation.
  • Support to ensure we remain compliant by conducting regular audits and compliance checks. Report any concerns to the Recruitment Advisor.
  • Responsible for providing interview feedback to candidates, so they can better understand how they have performed and what they can look to do to improve.
  • Build relationships with relevant key stakeholders and hiring managers across sites.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information across our systems and datasheets.
  • Actively support and engage with our Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality process, ensuring that every candidate is given equal opportunities throughout the process.
  • Provide Keep in Touch (KIT) calls to all candidates who are successful and offered a position.
  • Support with booking in when required (e.g., high absence or higher than expected numbers).
  • Seek and act upon constructive feedback on recruitment processes and practices as part of our continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Advisor to understand business requirements and weekly SLAs.
  • Use your own initiative to seek out additional tasks and responsibilities to support your team, the wider team, and also the business.
  • Oversee the candidate onboarding process, working closely with the operation and HR Recruitment Administration teams to ensure we are adhering to internal SLAs.
  • Support the various Recruitment mailboxes, dealing with queries appropriately and in a timely manner, escalating any concerns to the relevant Recruitment Advisor.
  • Support the holds and change of start date process to ensure we are providing a good candidate experience and reporting any shortfalls to the Recruitment Advisor.
  • Create a positive candidate experience throughout all parts of their journey, and constantly review the experience to ensure it is the best it can be.
  • Look to constantly improve the current process to ensure we keep ahead of the competition.
  • Attend and participate in recruitment events, representing and promoting the organization.
  • Taking on any additional tasks that may need to be completed as delegated by the Recruitment Advisor or Recruitment Business Partner.

About You:

Experience & Education:

  • Recruitment experience, in-house or agency.
  • Experience of high-volume customer-focused recruitment.
  • Experience of stakeholder management.
  • Experience of using candidate management systems.

Skills & Behaviours:

  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Positive and friendly approach.
  • Flexible attitude to support the needs of the business.
  • Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time-keeping skills.
  • Good knowledge of Google suite.
  • Attention to detail/accuracy.
