Recruitment Coordinator

Location: Canary Wharf, London – 60% on-site Contract Length: 127 working days Security Clearance: Current CTC active

Key Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • End-to-end recruitment experience, ideally within the Civil Service
  • Hands-on experience managing the entire recruitment lifecycle
  • Familiarity with Civil Service advertising platforms (preferred)
  • Strong pre-employment checking processes (including vetting requirements)
  • Competent in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Core Responsibilities

  • Driving the recruitment process from start to finish:
    • Defining job requirements and caordine professional roles
    • Publishing and managing advertisements
    • Supporting vacancy interviews, assessments, and selection processes
    • Ensuring compliance with Civil Service standards
  • Conducting pre-employment vetting, security checks (CTC aligned), and compliance screenings
  • Collaborating closely with HR teams, hiring managers, and external stakeholders to deliver efficient recruitment outcomes
  • Operating independently with minimal supervision, but demonstrating strong teamwork when required

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ proven recruitment experience (Civil Service preference)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and ** Communication skills**
  • Ability to balance individual accountability with collaborative teamwork
  • Cleared to CTC (or capability to obtain)
