Recruitment Manager
Leading SAP Practice | London, Cheapside
Hybrid | Salary dependant on experience
We are investing in the expansion of our Enterprise Technology business, and SAP is the next major area of growth. To lead this, we are seeking a Business Manager or Business Director with deep expertise in the SAP recruitment market.
This isn’t a role for someone looking to “step up.” We need a proven leader with the gravitas, credibility and market knowledge to immediately plug into the SAP ecosystem and shape the strategy from day one.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong SAP recruitment background with a clear understanding of modules, technologies, talent pools, and client landscapes
- 4–5+ years’ experience in SAP or wider enterprise tech recruitment
- Proven experience building client relationships, winning large accounts, and influencing senior stakeholders
- The confidence and capability to serve as a practice lead, shaping the market strategy and driving growth
- Ambition, commercial edge and the desire to create something new within a major organisation
This is the chance to build and grow a practice from scratch, without the risk of doing it alone.
You’ll have:
- Full national remit to recruit across the UK & Ireland
- Access to the power of the Hays brand and existing enterprise relationships
- Support from experienced leaders, including a structured partnership with internal experts who know Hays inside out
- Investment committed for further growth: future headcount, events, and potential SAP partnership opportunities
- The freedom to shape the practice in your own vision, within a large, stable, and well-resourced organisation
- A clear progression pathway, ideal for someone facing a glass ceiling in their current firm

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
