Recruitment Officer 6 Months FTC
Location: Support Office, Basingstoke (Hybrid)
Salary: £30,000 per annum (FTE)
We’re looking for a Recruitment Officer to join our expanding Support Office team at Grandir UK.
Grandir UK is one of the country’s leading childcare providers, with around 100 nursery settings nationwide. As demand increases, this role will play a key part in supporting our nurseries with their recruitment needs and ensuring we continue to attract exceptional early years talent.
Working closely with the Recruitment Manager, you’ll support our nursery teams with their hiring requirements, maintain accurate recruitment records, liaise with our compliance team, and contribute to maintaining Grandir UK’s position as an employer of choice.

What Will You Be Doing
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including candidates, managers, and agencies
- Focusing on direct recruitment researching and generating a candidate pipeline from internal and external sources.
- Conducting interviews where required, provide feedback and liaise with internal clients.
- Updating the recruitment SharePoint and applicant tracking system and ensuring effective use to ensure accurate reporting of candidate activity at all times
- Facilitating or attending recruitment events
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the Company’s processing operations, information systems, data security processes and needs, administrative rules and policies, procedures and promote data security awareness.
- Ensure the Company remains legally compliant with safer recruitment and employment regulations, and in line with the company’s Safer Recruitment Policy
- Keep spreadsheets and databases up to date, analysing and interpreting data when requested
- Generally support the recruitment function and cover when other members are on absent
- Support the aims and ethos of the Company, setting a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality and attendance
- Maintain confidentiality in the workplace and set a good example in terms of dress and behaviour, maintaining the good reputation of the organisation at all times
- Any other tasks that can be reasonably expected in relation to the role
