Recruitment Operations Coordinator

Department: Recruitment

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Liphook (Office-Based)

Reporting To: Rosa Gordon

Compensation: £25,000 / year

Description

Salary: £25,000 + annual company bonus up to £1,500

Job Type: Full Time, permanent role

Location: Liphook, Hampshire

Rocksteady Music School is the UK’s largest rock and pop school. We teach fun and inclusive in-school band lessons to primary age children. Our mission is simple: to amplify children’s self-belief and remove barriers to music education. We’re currently in thousands of schools in the UK, teaching over 120K children every week, and recently launched in Australia – and we’re growing fast.

Our offices in Liphook and Birmingham are home to many of our central office teams. From there, we all play our part in supporting our band leaders to reach as many children as possible with their lessons. That’s what gets us out of bed in the morning!

We’re now looking for a Recruitment Operations Coordinator to join our Recruitment Team and play a key role in helping us attract and hire exceptional people across the business. As Recruitment Coordinator, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth running of our recruitment operations, ensuring candidates, hiring managers, facilitators and schools receive a professional and positive experience throughout the hiring process.

We're looking for a highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused individual who enjoys balancing multiple priorities, communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and keeping recruitment activity running efficiently across the country.

As a Recruitment Operations Coordinator you will:

  • Coordinate and book staff, facilitators and venues for recruitment events and activities across the UK.
  • Manage the recruitment phone line, handling candidate enquiries professionally, providing information about our vacancies and recruitment process, and forwarding messages to the appropriate team members.
  • Respond to urgent candidate enquiries and support the team in resolving recruitment-related issues quickly and effectively.
  • Utilise communication tools to coordinate bookings and scheduling with schools, venues and facilitators.
  • Oversee and support the prioritisation of team diaries and recruitment pipelines to ensure recruitment activity is delivered efficiently.
  • Maximise team capacity through effective forward planning and coordination of recruitment activity.
  • Manage the recruitment inbox, responding to enquiries and directing communications to the relevant team members.
  • Prepare and generate recruitment reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Support the wider Recruitment Team with administrative and operational recruitment activities as required.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through timely communication and professional administration throughout the recruitment journey.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
