About the Placement Year Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting core People Operations activities:
    • Maintaining accurate employee records
    • Processing data updates
    • Assisting with payroll administration
  • Coordinating onboarding for new hires:
    • Managing documentation processes
    • Handling communication and induction logistics
    • Ensuring a seamless employee experience
  • Assisting with:
    • Training administration
    • People-led process improvements
    • Leveraging insights to drive key team initiatives

You: Your Fit for Acturis

This role is perfect for those who:

  • Are on track for a 2:2+ undergrad degree, seeking a placement year
  • Have prioritised excellence in customer-facing roles and service delivery
  • Possess strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while making intelligent decisions
  • Are analytical, process-driven, and detail-oriented, with proficiency in Excel and understanding of recruitment data
  • Are able to meet the location requirement: part-time work (4 days/week in London) over the duration for the placement year (August 2026 – August 2027)
