About the Opportunity

Chapter 2 is a specialist talent acquisition consultancy that collaborates with high-growth businesses to construct exceptional teams. Embedded within clients’ organizations, we function as an extension of their in-house Talent Acquisition team, offering the versatility and learning from a dynamic consultancy.

We’re seeking a Recruitment Sourcer to integrate into our embedded team in New York, assisting a rapidly scaling fintech and payments company redefining financial transactions globally.

The Role: Recruitment Sourcer

As a Recruitment Sourcer, you’ll lead the talent pipeline by:

  • Identifying, engaging, and nurturing exceptional candidates across diverse roles.
  • Collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to define and refine what constitutes top talent.
  • Implementing creative, data-informed sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage comprehensive talent pipelines for technical, commercial, and operational functions.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies using:
    • LinkedIn Recruiter
    • Boolean search algorithms
    • Market monitoring
  • Craft persuasive, brand-aligned outreach that resonates genuinely with recipients.
  • Conduct initial candidate screening, providing high-quality shortlists.
  • Monitor and analyze sourcing metrics, furnishing insights on talent availability and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the broader TA team, refining strategies and sharing best practices.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in recruitment sourcing, whether in-house or agency-based.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and related sourcing tools and techniques.
  • A preference for experience hiring in fintech, payments, financial services, or a comparable fast-paced sector.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, focusing on engaging prospect messaging.
  • A proactive, autonomous mindset, comfortable operatively embedded or client-facing.
  • Innate curiosity about talent markets, driven by uncovering overlooked talent.
