Recruitment Specialist – Home Care at Carefound Home Care

Join us, and you'll be part of a supportive, award-winning team which is centred around providing the best possible care and support to our clients and staff.
As a Recruitment Specialist, you'll join our recruitment team at our central support office in Harrogate and play a key role in sourcing and recruiting care professionals to enable our local home care branches to grow. Working closely with recruitment colleagues and hiring leaders, you'll be a trusted advisor throughout the recruitment process—from briefing to onboarding.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for vacancies, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand role requirements and deliver tailored sourcing strategies
- Advertise job vacancies across multiple channels, including:
- Job boards
- Email marketing
- Social media
- Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through:
- Direct sourcing
- Networks
- Other channels
- Conduct detailed screening calls and interviews to assess candidate suitability and cultural fit
- Support interview and offer processes, providing guidance on best practice
- Complete pre-employment checks, including:
- DBS verifications
- Reference checks
- Efficiently manage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment databases to:
- Maintain organised candidate records
- Track progress
- Analyse recruitment metrics and data to:
- Identify trends
- Optimise processes
- Improve time-to-hire and quality-of-hire
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with candidates, enhancing employer brand and encouraging referrals

Requirements
Experience
- Proven experience in recruitment, particularly in health or social care
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle (vacancy creation to onboarding)
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft tools
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Recruitment databases
- Familiarity with:
- Social media recruitment
- Digital sourcing strategies
