Recycling Operative (Cox’s Lane, Rowley Regis)
Location: Cox’s Lane, Rowley Regis Hours: 42.75 per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:30 Salary: £13.00/hour
The Role
We need a hardworking and reliable Recycling Operative to join our team at a recycling facility in Rowley Regis. We specialise in the recycling of clean waste, including cardboard and plastics. We operate UK-wide, serving construction, manufacturing, retail, utilities, and public sector clients, offering:
- Total waste management
- WEEE recycling
- Specialist hazardous waste solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Execute yard duties and operate all production lines as required
- Comply with all Health & Safety (H&S) procedures at facility depots
- Liaise with the daily supervisor to determine workload and address production issues
- Report any equipment defects immediately if they pose a safety risk
- Work on the trommel line when needed
- Complete machinery daily check sheets
- Safely guide customers to designated tipping areas
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free workspace
- Undertake additional duties as instructed by line managers
