Role: Red Team Operator

Location: London, Bank - 3 days in office.
Details:
- Initial 6 month contract, with guaranteed conversion to perm within that period.
- Perm salary: up to £115k base + bonus (VP Level)
- Initial contract rate: TBC
Requirements:
- Develop, maintain, and govern Red Team operations, while providing training, coaching, and mentorship to Red Team members.
- Design and execute comprehensive penetration testing engagements, including network, web application, and social engineering assessments.
- Partner with the SOC and external security vendors to plan, coordinate, and deliver annual Purple Team exercises.
- Identify and validate security risks, vulnerabilities, and control gaps through adversary simulation activities, enabling the business to understand potential threats and impacts.
- Manage and optimize Red Team tooling and the Security Testing & Validation platform to support effective security assessments.
- Lead internal security professionals and third-party resources in conducting regular risk assessments across EMEA internal and external infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and exploitable weaknesses.
- Establish and maintain governance processes for assessment findings, tracking remediation progress and delivering regular reporting to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, application, and other technology teams to strengthen security controls, enhance defensive capabilities, and improve resilience against real-world cyber threats.
