An excellent opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established company.

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time – Permanent.

Salary: Competitive Salary. Depending on Experience (OTE £52,000 - £58,000)

Location: Wakefield & Surrounding Areas.

About The Company:

They offer comprehensive in-house training to ensure that all engineers meet and often exceed the minimum recommended guidelines for accreditation.

The company have 2 x positions available:

  1. Full-Time Engineer
  2. Part-Time Senior Semi-retired Engineer (Working 3 days per week)

Key Duties:

  • Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and repairs.
  • Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance.
  • Complete all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works.
  • Liaise closely with the client (Commercial clients) to maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Work in a safe and controlled manner following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements.

Candidate Requirements (Full-time Engineer)

  • Experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 (FGas).
  • An individual who has previously worked on a variety of Refrigeration Systems, Fridge, Freezers, Display Cabinets, Cold-rooms, Chillers.
  • Air-conditioning experience on Split A/C Systems also VRV, AHU.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Skills.
  • Full Driving license.
  • Clean Enhanced DBS.

Candidate Requirements (Semi-retired Engineer)

  • Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent) and Category 1 F-Gas Certification.
  • Experience: Extensive experience (15+ years) in maintaining, servicing, and installing commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Skills: Exceptional knowledge, strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic capabilities, and familiarity with a wide range of refrigerants.
  • Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the understanding of the positives of being a part of a strong team.
