Case Maintenance Technician - Nightshift

- Type: Permanent
- Shift: Nightshift 45 hours per week
- Working Pattern:
- Monday & Thursday: 12 hours
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 11.5 hours
- Salary: £29,881.80 per annum
Job Purpose
The Case Maintenance Technician will execute a planned refrigeration case maintenance programme across multiple site locations, adhering to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
All tasks will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, while strictly following the Company Health and Safety Policy.
Key Accountabilities
- Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act and Company Health and Safety Policy at all times.
- Collaborate with company and client colleagues to uphold quality standards consistently.
- Represent the company in a professional and competent manner, fostering positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Assist case maintenance teams in achieving targets in line with SLAs.
- Complete all assigned case maintenance tasks within deadlines, meeting company and client satisfaction.
- Remain updated on regulations and codes of practice, including:
- Demerchandising/Remerchandising refrigeration units
- Chemical usage protocols
- Attend mandatory training to maintain and develop technical skills.
- Comply with reasonable company requests or instructions, liaising with other engineering disciplines for flexible service delivery.
- Contribute to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and promoting an cost-efficient operational ethos.
- Ensure systems operate at optimal energy efficiency.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Light travel flexibility may be required (for Team Leader support)
- Full and valid driving licence (required for occasional mobile work)
Desirable
- GCSE-standard education
- Experience with refrigeration equipment
- Retail or cleaning industry experience
- Proficient in using PC/iPad (both Apple and Android)
