Love Joes | We’re Hiring Regional Account Manager Location Walsall, West Midlands Hours Full-time, 40 hours per week Salary £35,644 per annum A bit about us Love Joes is a family-run food business based in Walsall, West Midlands. We make and supply chicken products to foodservice customers across the UK — over 3,000 tonnes a year and growing. The role This role is responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies to regional-based customers, while achieving sales targets and driving growth across the territory. The Business Development Manager sits within a clear EOS accountability structure, reporting to the Sales Manager, who reports to the Head of Sales and Marketing, and ultimately to the Managing Director. You’ll be out in the field regularly, building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting wider account development activity across the region. What you’ll be doing • Managing regional customer relationships and owning day-to-day interactions within your territory • Achieving regional sales targets including revenue and activity goals • Carrying out regular field visits and customer reviews • Supporting National Account Managers on larger or national accounts within your region • Identifying and reporting local market opportunities and growth potential • Providing feedback on market intelligence, competitor activity and customer needs • Representing Love Joes professionally with all customers and stakeholders What we’re looking for We’re not expecting perfection — we’re looking for the right person. If you’ve got most of the below, we want to hear from you. You’ll need • Substantial experience in the sales industry • Experience in upselling products and customer service • Strong understanding of product and customer needs • Understanding of sales metrics and performance measures • Highly developed presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships • Ability to convert leads into customers • Good attention to detail • Basic IT skills It’d be a bonus if you’ve got • Experience in foodservice or FMCG sales • Understanding of industry trends and regional market dynamics • Experience working with national accounts or field sales teams What you’ll get We believe in looking after the people who look after the business.
