Regional Account Manager – On Trade (Drinks Industry)
Location: Field-based within the Midlands
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Car Allowance
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Regional Account Manager to drive sales growth, brand visibility and distribution across the On Trade, working with key Routes to Market, regional customers, and independent outlets. You’ll be the face of the brand in your territory, building strong relationships with RTMs, field sales teams, and regional operators while securing new stockists and protecting existing distribution. This role is ideal for someone who knows the drinks industry inside out and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Promote and grow the brand across On Trade customers in your region.
- Manage regional Routes to Market and support national RTMs including Greene King, LWC and Molson Coors.
- Build strong relationships with field sales teams to raise brand profile and drive distribution.
- Secure new stockists across pubs, bars, venues and regional operators.
- Ensure outlets have correct equipment, POS, tap badges, glassware and brand materials.
- Maintain accurate CRM and territory call files, recording all visits and distribution updates.
- Manage directly supplied customers, including independent On & Off Trade outlets.
- Follow up all leads to ensure opportunities are actioned quickly.
- Deliver budgeted sales volumes, revenue and profit targets.
- Implement cyclical briefs and build effective journey plans.
- Demonstrate a category-led approach
- Provide product knowledge and coordinate support from Technical Services and Customer Services.

What You’ll Bring

- Previous experience in the drinks industry.
- Strong knowledge of the current drinks market and RTMs.
- Established relationships across national and regional wholesalers (desirable).
- Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities.
- Confident, professional communication style with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Positive, adaptable attitude and strong rapport-building skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
