Regional Account Manager – Yorkshire & North East Region

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Regional Account Manager focused on maximising profitable revenue through:
- Winning new Regional Account business
- Retaining and developing existing clients
- Growing all income streams
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service in partnership with Service Centres and the Business Sales Teams
- Maximise Rental and Sales revenue by:
- Increasing customer contact time
- Boosting face-to-face sales call frequency
- Securing appointments and executing site cold calls
- Build strong working relationships with key decision-makers to execute an Account Management Plan
- Develop broad network connections across Sunbelt Rentals to support client relationships and unlock growth opportunities
- Balance revenue growth and price increases to meet defined business objectives
- Collaborate with all Sunbelt Rentals divisions, including specialist teams, to drive customer satisfaction
- Lead Tender or Retender processes (with support from the Commercial Team) to optimise success for business units

The role is based across the Yorkshire & North East region.

About You – Required Qualifications
You’ll bring proven performance in:
- Customer relationship development and business growth (new account acquisition + portfolio expansion)
- Fast-paced sales environments
- B2B sales to Construction decision-makers (Procurement/Safety/Site Managers)
- Preferred: Experience in technology sales (e.g., surveying, safety, communications)
- Track record in achieving SLAs and optimising customer service
- Proven ability to drive financial improvements across live accounts
- Influencing/negotiation expertise + superior networking skills
- Strategic mindset—balancing day-to-day activities with long-term objectives
- Agile approach, leveraging speed to exploit opportunities
- Commercial drive to meet (and exceed) stretched targets
