About us:

At Nkuku we create beautifully handmade homewares and furniture. We work with makers throughout the world, combining timeless design with traditional skills and natural materials. Our brand is built on three core values: Natural, Ethical, and Crafted, which guide everything we do. Committed to ethical practices from the start, we are proud to be a B Corp, part of a growing community of businesses that balance purpose and profit. We are a growing, commercially ambitious business with a collaborative and down-to-earth culture, where ownership, creativity and accountability are valued at every level.

About this role and you:

This is a high-impact, autonomous commercial role responsible for driving Nkuku's Trade growth across the Midlands and East of England. The territory extends south from Wales & the Midlands to take in accounts down to Worcestershire and across into East Anglia, picking up the ground immediately south of our Northern territory. The role covers both new business development and strategic account management, with responsibility for building a high-quality portfolio of brand partners and delivering sustained revenue growth across the territory. This is not a development role. We are looking for someone who can operate independently, bring an existing network, and deliver commercial results from the outset.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
