Senior Regional Account Manager – Health Housing & Social Care (H&SC)

Location: Remote (South East of England coverage) Employment Type: Permanent


About the Role

We are recruiting a Regional Account Manager to join our Regional Commercial Team in a sales-focused role, supporting the Sales Director, National Sales Manager, and Senior Account Manager. This fully remote position requires you to drive market growth for Tunstall within the Health Housing and Social Care (H&SC) sectors across the assigned South East region.


Responsibilities

Customer Growth & Sales

  • Build a strong sales pipeline by proactively identifying high-potential leads.
  • Convert leads into prospects by analysing service delivery models and needs.
  • Educate prospects on integrated health and care provision models.
  • Utilise a mix of transactional and consultative selling techniques to win new business.
  • Expand the regional customer base by targeting adjacent market sectors.
  • Negotiate with clients to close sales, retain accounts, and boost revenue.
  • Lead regional territory and operational reviews with existing customers.

Commercial Success

  • Provide sales input to the Regional Commercial Team for strategic customer initiatives.
  • Develop a territory plan with accurate forecasting and step-by-step strategies to meet/exceed quota.
  • Communicate and implement regional sales territory plans effectively.
  • Monitor bids/tenders, quotations, and project success rates.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and escalate any quality/integrity concerns.
  • Provide expertise in regional tender/bid opportunities, guiding decision-making.

Market Intelligence & Expansion

  • Track industry trends in housing, connected health, and care to spot growth opportunities.
  • Attend regional/national meetings, workshops, and events to gather insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance regional brand presence and leverage digital marketing.
  • Share best practices with colleagues across the organisation.
  • Research competitor pricing, products, and market demands.

Internal Collaboration & Reporting

  • Spread innovative sales techniques to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the growth and excellence of the Regional Commercial Team.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (service, finance, installations, IT) on projects.
  • Regularly review sales performance metrics and prepare reports/forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual).

Ideal Candidate

Skills & Experience

Required

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas across multiple revenue streams.
  • Experience in relational selling, managing both new and existing accounts.
  • Strong CRM and sales pipeline management familiarity.
  • Ability to build relationships at multiple organisational levels (executive to operational).
  • Analytical and financial acumen for business planning and forecasting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent alongside relevant sales industry experience (minimum 3+ years).
  • Exceptional written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable

  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and presentations.
