Based across Mansfield and Charnwood Contract - Regional Travel required, covers 6 sites
Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours p/w) £32,000 - £35,000 per annum + commission and company vehicle, plus excellent benefits

As a Regional Aquatics Manager in our More Leisure Community Trust team, you’ll lead and grow swimming lessons and aquatic programmes across your region, helping more people build confidence in the water while driving commercial success.
This is a role with real purpose. You’ll shape high-quality aquatic experiences, support community access to essential life skills, and lead teams to deliver programmes that create positive impact on people of all ages. Your work will touch lives every day – improving wellbeing, building trust, and helping communities thrive through safe, inclusive and engaging aquatic provision.
What you’ll do as a Regional Aquatics Manager
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Lead the delivery and ongoing development of swimming lesson programmes and aquatic products across multiple sites
- Drive commercial growth by improving customer retention, increasing participation, and identifying new opportunities
- Manage, coach, and develop Swimming Coordinators to deliver consistent, high-quality programmes
- Use data and performance insights to monitor results, identify trends, and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with training, safeguarding, and health and safety standards across all sites
- Collaborate with marketing and site teams to promote programmes and increase community engagement

Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Proven experience managing swimming lesson programmes across multiple sites, with a strong track record of growth and retention
- Experience leading and developing teams, with a focus on coaching and performance management
- A recognised swim teaching qualification (STA or Swim England Level 2 or equivalent)
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to analyse data and drive results
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering great customer experiences

Vetting and checks
A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
