Regional Assessor (South East) – Accredited Assessment Role
Job Summary
NQA, part of the Kiwa UK Group, is seeking a Regional Assessor based in the South East to conduct accredited assessments through scheduled site visits. Leveraging technical, administrative, and customer service expertise, this remote role—requiring frequent travel—focuses on ensuring quality and compliance for clients.
NQA provides accredited certification, training, and support services to help organisations improve processes, performance, products, and services. Over 50,000 certificates have been issued in over 90 countries, contributing to an annual revenue of around €100 million.
About The Role
The Regional Assessor must:
- Deliver accredited assessments and meet annual targets
- Assess client documented management systems against recognised accreditation standards, including:
- ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management)
- ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management)
- ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety)
- Perform timely client assessments aligned with visit schedules
- Provide clear and actionable feedback to clients
- Prepare and submit comprehensive visit reports, including recommendations for certificate issuance, surveillance, or withdrawal
- Ensure all assessments, surveillance, and recertification visits comply with NQA’s Management System requirements
- Uphold Health and Safety policies while managing business risks
Essential Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Technical audit experience in compliance with:
- ISO 9001:2015
- ISO 14001:2015
- ISO 45001:2018
- Ability to assess against multiple management standards concurrently
- Strong expertise in relevant assessment domains
- Demonstrated knowledge of management standards
- Health & Safety background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven report-writing capabilities
- Proficient IT skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness and flexibility for national and international travel

(Desirable but not mandatory: Successfully completed CQI/IRCA-recognised Lead Auditor courses for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001; current IRCA/IEMA registration; experience with third-party accreditation.)
