Regional Broker Development Manager – Southampton & Thames Valley
Salary: circa £85,000 (depending on skills and experience)

This role requires regular travel across Southampton and Thames Valley.
A bit about the job:
This role is all about building strong relationships and delivering sustainable, profitable growth. The successful individual will be Southampton based and join our London Market and South East Development team, a key part of Aviva’s UKGI business. We work closely with our internal stakeholders and brokers to deliver our growth strategy, helping them make better business decisions and unlocking new opportunities.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic sales plans for existing and prospective clients, driving business growth and commercial success. Working collaboratively across sales, People, Risk, and Finance teams, the role focuses on improving sales performance through effective coaching, objective setting, and performance management. The successful candidate will demonstrate Aviva’s Values in Action, leading inclusively, and inspiring high-performing teams while ensuring positive customer outcomes and supporting customers in achieving their financial goals.

You’ll lead a team focused on intermediated sales, external engagement, manage sales pipelines, and provide insights that shape our strategy.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strategic thinker with a focus on delivery and outcomes
- Experience in broker relationship/account management within General Insurance
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Proven ability to manage sales pipelines (Salesforce experience is a plus)
- Analytical mindset with confidence in decision-making

- Starting salary circa £85,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
