**Regional Business Development Manager – Global Payments/Worldpay
Ready to take your career global? Join one of the biggest names in payments and help shape the future of global commerce by driving new business sales of our industry-leading payment solutions.
What You’ll Own
- Achieve monthly sales targets aligned to overall company objectives
- Develop a monthly strategy and business plan, generating innovative ideas to attract new business and extend market share
- Generate new business and proactively manage your self-generated leads pipeline using Salesforce
- Build and maintain professional relationships across your local business network, including joining business forums and attending events
- Cultivate a network of introducers, ensuring WorldPay is the first choice for all referrals
- Actively sell multiple products, including:
- Face-to-face standalone POS systems
- Integrated POS systems
- E-commerce solutions to new SME customers (annual CTO turnover of £250k–3 million card turnover) within a defined territory
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and drive revenue growth in line with pricing policy
- Collaborate with customer service and onboarding teams to resolve queries, ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Provide feedback on local trends, including:
- Competitor insights
- Customer needs
- Sales and lead information
- Product and marketing requirements
- Support the Regional Director with inducting new team members, sharing best practices, and mentoring (buddying)

What You’ll Bring
- A full driving licence
- Proven experience in targeted B2B field sales, with merchant sales experience (essential)
- Comfortable selling to C-level executives
- Exceptional consultative approach, with strong skills in solution selling, negotiation, and communication
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Strong self-starter mindset, requiring minimal oversight but with a commitment to team performance
- Previous sales experience in the mid-market segment
