Medicareplus International is a UK medical-device company specialising in barrier protection and wound-care products supplied to the NHS and international markets. We are a growing, fast-moving business where the supply chain sits at the heart of everything we do — getting the right regulated products to clinicians and patients, reliably and efficiently.
We’re looking for a Regional Business Manager for the North of the UK. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving regional performance across both sales and clinical functions. The RBM leads and develops a high-performing team of Clinical Nurse Advisors and Territory Managers, ensuring alignment to national strategy while delivering against commercial objectives.
This role is accountable for planning, executing, and optimising regional sales and clinical activities across the Medicareplus product portfolio, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs), expanding market access, and increasing market share.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and manage daily performance for Territory Managers and Clinical Nurse Advisors, conducting regular reviews and fostering a high-performance, collaborative team culture aligned with company values.
- Recruit, coach, and develop team members to build long-term capability, boost engagement, and establish strong succession planning within the region.

Commercial & Strategic Delivery
- Drive regional growth and profitability by executing strategic sales plans, meeting KPI targets, and expanding product adoption across key healthcare accounts.
- Oversee business planning and performance monitoring through CRM tracking, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and data-driven insights to manage risks and report on regional progress
Account & Stakeholder Management
- Manage key accounts and stakeholder relationships by supporting Territory Managers with contract negotiations and building strong partnerships with procurement, clinical advocates, and decision-makers.
- Oversee regional operations and compliance by managing budgets and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring alignment with company policies and national account strategies.
Innovation & Market Development
- Identify new business opportunities and areas for product development.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to inform commercial strategy and product innovation.
Desirable Experience and Skills
- Proven success in driving Regional Sales performance and developing high performing teams.
- Experience within skin care, wound care, or other fast flow medical device sectors.
- Ability to influence senior clinical and non-clinical stakeholders with a network of key contacts already in place.
- Strong understanding of UK healthcare structures (ICSs, Trusts, community care)
- Experience with tendering processes and formulary inclusion
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance clinical and sales priorities

Candidate Location
M62 corridor – Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds
Travel Expectations
- This is a field-based role with regular travel across the region (approx. 3–4 days per week)
- Occasional national travel for meetings and conferences
