BD – Regional Business Manager, Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS), South

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and inspirational sales leader to join our Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) business as a [Regional Business Manager – South].

In this high-impact leadership role, you will:

  • Drive commercial success across our Vascular Access Management (VAM) portfolio
  • Develop a high-performing team
  • Build strategic partnerships within the healthcare system

Responsibilities

As Regional Business Manager, your core responsibilities will include:

Commercial & Business Leadership

  • Deliver or exceed annual sales revenue and profitability objectives
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business goals
  • Drive a culture of Commercial Excellence, leveraging CRM tools like Salesforce for planning, forecasting, and analysis

Team & Relationship Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Territory Managers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior healthcare stakeholders
  • Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical, Clinical, and Marketing teams to maximise business opportunities

Performance & Compliance

  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
  • Conduct regular field visits to coach Territory Managers
  • Contribute to global leadership initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with BD policies, processes, and ethical standards

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Influencing senior healthcare leaders to forge productive partnerships with BD
  • Recruiting, coaching, and developing high-performing sales talent
  • Creating a growth mindset, driving continuous learning and high performance
  • Setting regional priorities and efficiently deploying resources
  • Overseeing forecasts, KPIs, and business performance
  • Collaborating across BD departments to uncover and execute growth opportunities
  • Advocating for BD’s approved marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies
  • Solving complex commercial and clinical challenges to improve patient outcomes

Requirements

Preferable Requirements

  • Proven sales leadership experience in healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences
  • Track record of developing and inspiring successful sales teams
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a history of achieving revenue and profit targets
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior decision-makers
  • Deep expertise in strategic planning, forecasting, and business management
  • Exceptional communication skills and relationship-building capabilities
  • Ability to lead through change, drive performance improvements, and foster high-performance cultures
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales approaches
