Regional Delivery Manager (Senior Programme Manager)
Regional Delivery Manager (Operating from Cumbria or Lancashire)
As a Regional Delivery Manager, you’ll lead the successful delivery of high-value, complex programmes critical to our mission: providing clean, safe water and protecting the environment for generations to come.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead a regional capital investment programme over £210m in Cumbria.
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance, schedule adherence, and commercial performance.
- Manage budgets, resources, and financial performance across 60+ projects.
- Define and drive the programme vision, goals, and alignment with organisational strategy.
- Establish robust governance and reporting frameworks.
- Lead risk, issue, and dependency management across multiple projects.
- Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate seamless post-implementation transitions.
- Champion continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing programme team.

What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a confident, experienced leader who can bring clarity, structure, and energy to complex programmes.
- Ideally:
- Proven experience in large-scale, high-value programme delivery.
- Professional qualification (e.g., APM membership).
- Track record in managing complex, multi-disciplinary construction infrastructure.
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
