Qualified Regional Dental Nurse
Position: Regional Dental Nurse (Full-time or Part-time available)
Location: Based out of the closest practice from your location; practices include:
- Alpha Blaydon
- Vitality Bute & Bridge Street (Jesmond & Gosforth)
- Laburnum, North Shields
- Regent Terrace
- Victoria Road
- Indental Fewster Square
- Deckham, Village & Westlands
- Hebburn & Pelaw
- The Grange
Note: Mileage is paid from your base practice to other sites.
About the Role
As a Regional Dental Nurse, you will support multiple dental practices across the North East region, covering Tyne and Wear and County Durham. This role involves:
- Travel between practices for flexible nursing cover, ensuring seamless patient care
- Maintenance of regulatory standards, including compliance with CQC and GDC
- Operational and clinical support during staff absences (e.g., annual leave, sickness) and peaks in demand
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance for various dental procedures
- Maintain cross-infection prevention and decontamination protocols
- Prepare and maintain clinical working environments
- Accurately manage patient records
- Enforce high standards of compliance with dental regulations

Frequent travel is required through locations including: Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Gateshead and County Durham.
Salary
Up to £15.00 per hour for candidates holding a current Dental Sedation qualification.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you must:
- Hold a current GDC registration
- Have a Certificate in Dental Sedation Nursing
- Provide proof of up-to-date Hepatitis B immunisation
- Possess a specialist qualification (such as Sedation or Implant Nursing) or a strong willingness to grow in these fields
- Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional patient care
- Thrive within a supportive team environment
