Lead a group of schools. Back the people who run them. Change what education means for young people who have been let down before.

As regional director for education, you lead 3 to 4 of our schools and the headteachers who run them. You are accountable for the quality of education, the performance of each school and the commercial health of your region. This role is based in the Midlands and supports our schools across the portfolio.

You coach and develop your headteachers, hold them to high standards, and give them the support to meet them. You own quality assurance across your portfolio, get into schools for dip checks and learning walks, and make sure every school is inspection-ready as a matter of routine. You own the profit and loss (P&L), occupancy, staffing, and succession planning across your region.

It is a big role for an experienced school leader who wants to shape more than one school at a time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
