We are looking for an ambitious, highly driven Regional Director to lead new business growth.

This is a role for a hunter- someone who is energised by winning, motivated by financial success, and thrives on turning opportunities into revenue. You are a self-motivated, commercially driven business developer who thrives on opening doors, building executive relationships and winning new business. You will have the autonomy to build your territory, create your own pipeline and take ownership of your success.

As a key member of the Information Security Forum’s sales team, the successful candidate will utilise their sales experience to help shape ISF’s market positioning and overall go-to-market strategy, working directly with the CEO to execute effective and successful revenue strategies. This is a highly visible position both internally and externally and you will be a key representative of the ISF to Members, partners and the wider communities.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, pursue and win new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through disciplined sales activity.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Develop relationships with senior executives including CISOs, CIOs and business leaders.
  • Drive Membership and services growth across your region.
  • Consistently exceed revenue and growth targets.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding new business sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex consultative sales cycles from prospecting through to close.
  • Strong business development and territory management experience, with the ability to generate opportunities through self-sourced activity.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and board-level decision-makers.
  • Excellent prospecting, qualification, presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of value-based selling and return on investment.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Resilient, tenacious and results-oriented, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding performance objectives.
  • Proficient in the use of CRM systems and pipeline management methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region and internationally as required.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience selling subscription-based services, memberships, professional services, research, advisory or consultancy solutions.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, information security, risk management or related technology sectors.
  • Existing network of senior contacts within enterprise organisations, including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, Risk Officers or IT leadership teams.
  • Experience selling into FTSE 350, Fortune 1000 or large multinational organisations.
  • Experience working within membership organisations, professional bodies, industry associations or peer networking communities.
  • Understanding of current information security, cyber risk and technology trends.
  • Experience contributing to go-to-market strategy, proposition development and market positioning.
