Regional Director of Project Management
Regional Director of Project Management – Leading Independent Consultancy
Rainford Berry is recruiting on behalf of a leading independent consultancy for a Regional Director of Project Management to lead and grow its project management service line across the North of England.
Based primarily in Manchester, with responsibility for Leeds, this is a senior leadership role combining business development, client relationship management and hands-on project delivery.
The successful candidate will work with senior leaders to:
- Shape strategy
- Drive regional growth
- Maintain high standards of service delivery
The role will involve:
- Securing work from new and existing clients
- Delivering high-profile projects across sectors including:
- Industrial
- Office
- Purpose-built student accommodation
- Build to rent
Candidates should bring: ✔ An established client base ✔ A proven ability to generate fee income

Key Responsibilities
- Leading business development, marketing and growth across Manchester and Leeds
- Driving excellence in project delivery, quality control and best practice
- Developing and delivering service line business plans and performance targets
- Promoting the service to new and existing clients
- Mentoring, coaching and developing team members
Experience & Requirements
Qualifications
- Relevant degree-level qualification; MRICS preferred
- Strong project management expertise
- Hands-on technical delivery experience
Skillset
- Established client relationship skills
- Ability to win work and generate new instructions
- Confident, client-facing approach
- Strong influencing, leadership and communication skills
- Commercially focused with experience in:
- Achieving financial targets
- Supporting team performance
