Regional Director - UK Large Wealth, Global Client Group
The Global Client Group (GCG) is responsible for Dimensional’s relationship management and business development with a diverse set of clients.
The Large Wealth team sits within the GCG and is responsible for Dimensional’s relationships with large wealth managers, national financial planning firms and discretionary fund managers in the U.K.
The Opportunity
The Regional Director, UK Large Wealth will be responsible for the business development and relationship management with a focus on pre-client activity.
The Regional Director will drive all sales related activities with national wealth management firms as well as lead and organize the efforts of supporting client service team members to effectively address the needs of clients & prospects.
To be successful, the Regional Director, must have a solid foundational knowledge of the UK wealth management market and use that to create opportunities for Dimensional.
The ability to discuss the sophisticated investment solutions that Dimensional provides is critical to your success working with and influencing investment buyers & executives.

The Regional Director, UK Large Wealth is responsible for the following:
- Sales leadership of large wealth management and national advice firms.
- Lead complex sales and manage executive level relationships.
- Presenting Dimensional Fund Advisors’ investment capabilities, investment theory, and performance to investment buyers & senior executives.
- Developing and delivering strategies to build new relationships and retention strategies for existing clients.
- Increasing revenues, AUM, and clients within the UK through the profitable growth of the Dimensional product suite.
- Working collaboratively with across the Global Client Group (GCG)
- Educating firms on investment theory and acting as an intellectual contributor and trusted advisor to clients and potential clients.
- Being a team-player, providing sales and marketing thought leadership across the firm and clients.
- Being a spokesperson and champion of the Dimensional brand and investment theory throughout the industry and marketplace.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a high level of academic attainment, degree level or equivalent professional qualifications preferred.
- Significant sales experience and direct experience owning relationships with large UK wealth firms.
- Extensive knowledge of the UK wealth & intermediary landscape.
- A pre-existing and well-developed network of relationships with large wealth firms.
- A track record of business development, building relationships and raising assets.
- A personal alignment, understanding and appreciation of Dimensional's investment process, philosophy, and business strategy.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter.
- Competitive but highly collaborative with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key Dimensional selling points in a clear and compelling manner.
- A strong sense of professional and personal integrity and high ethical standards.
- Ability to present Dimensional’s products and philosophy to small and large groups.
- Strong knowledge of ETFs, model portfolios and tailored solutions preferable.
