Regional Facilities Manager

South Midlands

Role Overview

To co-ordinate and organise FM service delivery ensuring work is carried out to a high standard, management of contractors, management of the concerto system; contract variation quotations and corresponding invoicing and the production of reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors and Bellrock, ensuring effective communication and excellent service delivery.
  • Support the delivery of Asset Sustainability and Operational Plans, updating actions through Deepki and working closely with the Technical Manager.
  • Use building management systems (BMS), IEQ monitoring and bespoke software to improve occupant comfort, air quality, energy efficiency and maintenance performance.
  • Drive occupier engagement through feedback platforms, QR code surveys, events and social impact initiatives.
  • Manage reactive and planned maintenance through Concerto, ensuring works are completed on time, within contract requirements and accurately recorded for invoicing.
  • Liaise with contractors, monitor performance, carry out site inspections and quality audits, and ensure actions are followed through to completion.
  • Attend client meetings, service reviews and project meetings, providing support on operational, health & safety and project-related matters.
  • Assist with budgets, financial reconciliations, monthly client reports and quarterly business reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and statutory documentation, including accident reporting and environmental compliance.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental management and customer experience across the portfolio.

Skills & Experience

  • Positive, proactive and customer-focused, with a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Experience in a Facilities Management role, with knowledge of both Hard and Soft FM services.
  • Understanding of total FM contract delivery and experience supporting FM projects.
  • Confident using technology and willing to learn new systems and software.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage effectively with clients, contractors and multiple stakeholders.
  • Organised and adaptable, with excellent administrative skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Committed to sustainability, social value and continuous service improvement.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, with a relevant H&S qualification preferred.
  • Experience carrying out site inspections, H&S audits and contractor risk assessments.
  • Able to support emergency planning, occupier engagement, building operations and day-to-day facilities management activities.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of building fabric maintenance and long-term lifecycle costing.

Working arrangements

We believe in flexible, smart ways of working that support both our people and the needs of the business. Our approach varies by role, so for this position you'll typically work mobile around the South Midlands Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00.
