Regional General Manager
Logistics done differently.
We’re currently recruiting for a Contract General Manager to oversee our client Arla’s site’s in Hatfield and Aylesbury. You’ll be responsible for the operational and financial performance of the contract, taking ownership of vehicles and staff as we provide a seamless service to your assigned contracts. You’ll ensure that we are constantly compliant and achieving customer KPIs in a timely manner.

We’re looking to offer a salary up to £75,000, plus car allowance and bonus. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Oversee the successful implementation of the contract and supporting functions, ensuring regular customer updates on progress and delivery
- Develop and identify KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives for the contract to ensure high productivity and return
- Lead regular health and safety and compliance meetings to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are in line with regulations and are safe to operate
- Build and develop an effective management team for long term success
- Focus on embedding a culture of integrity, providing clear training, and establishing individual accountability on policy adherence
- Uphold XPO values at all levels

What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- An international CPC qualification is essential
- Experience managing a transport contract within a third-party environment or general haulage
- An effective understanding of budgets and P&L
- The ability to communicate effectively with all customers and stakeholders
