About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources based in the UK, to partner with senior leadership and shape our enterprise-wide people strategy. This strategic role reports directly to the Vice President of HR Strategy & International Director and has a dotted-line relationship with the Chief Executive Officer of Raytheon UK. You will play a pivotal role in driving leadership excellence, organisational culture, and high performance across a complex global matrix environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with Raytheon UK’s leadership team to align HR strategy with business goals, shaping a shared inclusive culture and adapting to organisational growth.
- Lead the full employee lifecycle, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organisational Design, and Organisational Effectiveness, collaborating closely with Centres of Expertise (COEs).
- Develop and implement talent continuity strategies, such as high-potential identification, succession planning, and career development.
- Apply change management frameworks to guide organisations through transitions effectively, ensuring initiatives align with business priorities.
- Utilise data-driven insights to influence decision-making, build compelling business cases, and challenge senior leaders constructively.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and industry HR best practices.

What You Bring
You’ll thrive in this role if you offer:
- Strategic business acumen with the ability to analyse external factors, business priorities, and challenges.
- Data-complexity skills – interpreting and translating data into actionable insights for leadership.
- Experience in talentry strategies, including leadership assessment, succession planning, and performance enhancement.
- Change management expertise, using consulting frameworks to drive organisational transformation.
- Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities to deliver on time, within budget, and aligned with global standards.
- Ability to coach, influence, and challenge entrenched behaviours in a senior leadership context.
- Proven track record working across matrix structures and aligning with global (U.S.-based) teams.
