Regional Information Security Officer
As a Regional Information Security Officer, you will serve as Oracle’s senior-most security and trust advisor, representing the full breadth of Oracle’s security capabilities across all lines of business—including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), SaaS applications, and industry solutions. Reporting into the Oracle Integrated Cyber Center (ICC) organization, this role blends deep industry expertise, cybersecurity strategy, and executive engagement to drive trust, transparency, and resilience at a global scale.
You will act as a senior thought partner to customer CISOs and regulators, engage with industry forums and standards bodies, support field and product alignment, and contribute directly to Oracle’s security narrative and customer confidence initiatives. Your work helps shape how customers and the industry perceive and experience Oracle’s commitment to security and resilience.
Responsibilities
Customer Advocacy & Executive Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CISOs and other security executives in all industry sectors across Oracle’s regional customer base and regulators
- Lead strategic customer discussions on:
- Oracle’s security strategy
- Technical capabilities
- Compliance posture
- Contractual commitments
- Navigate complex regulatory and contractual security concerns
- Partner with legal, product, and engineering teams to address challenges
Industry Enablement & Influence
- Represent Oracle in global and industry security forums, consortiums, and standard bodies
- Translate evolving industry regulations, threats, and trends into actionable inputs for product and compliance strategies
- Develop repeatable security architectures and playbooks tailored to industry requirements

Crisis Response & Incident Communication
- Act as an industry liaison during security events or crises, ensuring timely, accurate, and credible communications with:
- Customers
- Executives
- External stakeholders
- Partner with incident response, legal, and communications teams to shape coordinated global responses when security issues impact customers
Security Transparency & Messaging
- Contribute to the content and evolution of Oracle’s Trust Center and thought leadership platforms
- Align security messaging with industry-specific needs in collaboration with engineering and field teams
- Lead or support key briefings, white papers, and public engagements that build confidence in Oracle’s security posture
Cross-functional Leadership
- Collaborate with:
- Product Security
- Product Development
- Security Operations
- GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance)
- Legal
- Global Industries teams
- Act as connective tissue between Oracle’s internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ensure customer-facing security messaging aligns with operational reality
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity or risk management, with significant exposure to [Industry]
- Former CISO, Deputy CISO, Security Architect, or compliance executive preferred
- Deep understanding of global security regulations and standards applicable to [Industry] (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI, HIPAA, FFIEC)
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—comfortable briefing both technical and executive audiences
- Strong presence in industry communities and experience driving impact through influence, not just authority
- Experience navigating crisis or incident response and regulatory engagement
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with technical depth
